John Eder (aka Yao Han), a Chinese Brush Artist from Amarillo, Texas a member of The International Calligraphy and Chinese Ink Painting Society (ICCPS) received an invitation to submit two paintings to be displayed at an international exhibition in China earlier this year.
John submitted two paintings were mounted on hanging silk scrolls, then transported to Anshan, China. Paintings from across the world were hung for the international exhibition which took place at the Anshan City Public Cultural Center from October 1 through October 14, 2016.
Each of John’s paintings is 13 by 26 inches in size although the size of the scrolls is larger. The scrolls have now been returned to John and will be on display for viewing at China Art Gallery, Studio 96 at Sunset Center, beginning Friday, December 2nd at the First Friday Art Walk.
